Resumen

Los artefactos electrónicos conectados a Internet, ya sean domésticos o industriales en ocasiones requieren de la interacción con los humanos. Desde este planteamiento, el proceso de determinar la identidad de las personas que acceden a sus recursos, a través del reconocimiento de los rostros, voces, huellas dactilares, e incluso los gestos de los usuarios, se hace indispensable para mejorar la experiencia de uso de los mismos. En este artículo se describe el uso del modelo cognitivo general implementado en parte por Bow (bag of words) y SVMs (maquinas de soporte vectorial), métodos usados en inteligencia artificial para soportar la funcionalidad de aprendizaje automático de rostros.
